Ownership history: I am the 2nd mature owner (I'm 48). I bought it w/ 72,000 km from the original owner who rarely drove it in the rain & kept it in his garage under a car cover. (It was his first "big" expenditure when he started working;-). I do drive it in the rain;-).
Usage history: This has been my 3rd car as a Summer-only vehicle. Never driven in winter (I own a BMW 330 M-sport for the winter;-)
Accident history: none
Tires / rims incl: Original mag rims w/ no tires included (the edge of the lips have been brushed on curbs while parking). 18" rims from Tiremag USA + NEW (Spring 2010) Bridgestone RE 050 A (245 - 40 - 18 & 275 - 40 - 18) Ultra high performance summer tires + Brembo rotors also from Tiremag + new brake pads.
Options incl: Leather interior. Automatic transmission (definitely my preference due to traffic & the fact there's LOTS of horsepower;-). Summer '07 I had installed a Sony flip (touch) screen / cd / dvd player / iPod-ready stereo w/ stock BOSE speakers.
Great things about this car: Low mileage, gorgeous looks, fantastic handling, solid twin turbo acceleration, amazing leather seats with lots of bolstering & electric adjustments, great steering wheel, automatic transmission is great in rush hour traffic, original paint / & no repairs / no rust, the roof has 3 settings (closed w/ sunshades in place or sun shades easily removed to enjoy the glass roof or the glass roofs easily removed to enjoy topless motoring. In my opinion much better than a convertible). I have NEVER "tracked" this car nor "parking lot" raced nor street raced;-). This car was SO far ahead of it's time that even today it makes considering the high price of anything new seem ridiculously over priced in addition to the fact they will depreciate very quickly in a few years while this car holds its value well now!
Honest not so great things about this car: Usual wear on the leather seats (particularly the driver's seat left bolster). Some small door dings & a few small dings / chips in the front (1 larger twoonie-sized "dimple" in the hood). I asked a number of my friends if I should get these fixed / repainted & the unanimous answer was to leave the original paint as is to prove no other rust / body work was needed & the new owner can fix if they want;-)
